One of the standout performers for GT this season, Sai Sudharsan has consistently delivered at the top of the order. Jos Buttler’s return to form couldn’t have come at a better time for GT. The English opener put on a masterclass in their last outing, smashing an unbeaten 97 off just 54 deliveries. His innings, which featured 11 fours and four towering sixes, played a pivotal role in chasing down a daunting 204-run target.
So far this season, Buttler has racked up 315 runs in seven matches at a remarkable average of 63 and a strike-rate of 164.06. With three half-centuries under his belt, he remains one of the most dangerous batters in the tournament. GT will count on him to deliver another explosive innings at Eden Gardens.
