RCB's green jersey reflects the team's commitment towards their 'Go Green' initiative, which aims to raise awareness about the importance of conservation, sustainability and environmental protection. These eco-friendly jerseys are made from recycled waste collected at the stadium.
RCB has started this campaign to promote tree plantation to reduce the impact of global warming. As part of the campaign, the RCB captain gifts a plant to the opposition captain during the toss. RCB usually wears a green kit in afternoon games.
Last year as part of our Go Green Initiative, we had promised to rejuvenate lakes in Bengaluru and help people in the surrounding land lead a better life. With the help of our partners and the authorities, we have lived the dream. ??️?
