KKR will have to find a replacement for the right-handed batsman, who is a vital part of the top-order. Iswan is also a top order batsman like Iyer. He hasn't played any match in the IPL so far but has a lot of experience playing for Bengal in domestic cricket. Recently, he was also selected for the national team.

Sachin Baby

Sachin Baby

Sachin Baby was part of the IPL 2023 auction. However, he did not sell at his base price of Rs 20 lakh. Sachin is also a batsman like Iyer. He is a left handed batsman. He has played 19 matches in IPL so far in which he has scored 144 runs and has also taken 2 wickets while bowling.
Baby has been a part of the IPL since the 2013 season when he played for the Rajasthan Royals. He has also played for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the past.

Karun Nair

Karun Nair

Karun Nair is the first player who can be picked to replace Shreyas Iyer in the KKR squad. Karun Nair's base price in the IPL 2023 auction was Rs 50 lakhs, but he went unsold. Like Iyer, he is also a batsman. Nair has played for India in the past, representing the national team in 6 Tests and 2 ODIs.
In IPL, he has played 76 matches in which he has scored 1171 runs at an average of 23.75. The right-handed batsman has also scored 10 half-centuries in the tournament.
