The official broadcaster of IPL 2023 in India is Star Sports Network. This means that users will be able to watch all the matches of Indian Premier League 2023 on Star Sports channels. As Viacom18 holds the digital rights of the tournament, live streaming of the matches will be available on the Jio TV app. Outside India, the tournament will be broadcast on Times Internet and Viacom18.

The 2023 edition of the Indian Premier League is the 16th season of the IPL. Tata will take over the sponsoring responsibility in the current season of IPL, hence it will be called "Tata IPL". Indian Premier League is played in Twenty20 format. It was established in the year 2007 by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI). In 2023, it has been 16 years since the start of this cricket tournament. The Indian Premier League tournament will be divided into group stages and payoff matches. A total of 74 matches will be played in the current season of this IPL.

Disney+ Hotstar lose 3.8 million subscribers
Disney+ Hotstar, which had 61.3 million subscribers at the end of October 2022, dropped a few million of them in the last two months of the year. Overall, in the December quarter, the platform saw a decline of 6 per cent or 3.8 million subscribers to 57.5 million. User exodus from Hotstar also contributed to a net loss of 2.4 million subscribers globally for Disney+, the streaming major's first decline in two years since its launch.
