Uncapped Tamil Nadu all-rounder M Shahrukh Khan, base price of Rs 40 lakh, who earned his maiden India call-up recently in during the West Indies, has been picked up for Rs 9 crore by Punjab Kings. This is the second highest price paid to an uncapped cricketer in IPL history. There was a quite a battle between Chennai Super Kings and Punjab Kings for Shahrukh but in the end, PBKS prevail.
