Indian Squad announced for Women’s T20 World Cup 2024: The BCCI on Tuesday (August 27) announced India's 15-member squad for the upcoming Women's T20 World Cup 2024 to be held in the United Arab Emirates in October.
Harmanpreet Kaur will captain Team India for this mega tournament (Women's T20 World Cup 2024) while Smriti Mandhana has been named as the vice-captain. At the same time, Richa Ghosh and Yastika Bhatia are the designated wicketkeepers in the team. While the tournament will start from October 3, India's campaign in the Women's T20 World Cup will begin against New Zealand on October 4.
