The Indian team is currently playing in international cricket. Team India, even after resting many of its senior players at one point, returned with a flag of victory against Ireland, England, and West Indies. India A team will play its first competitive match in eight months against New Zealand A team in September-October while Australia A team will tour India in November. The India A program will be moderated by VVS Laxman and his NCA support staff group Sairaj Bahule and Sitanshu Kotak. The India A team had earlier participated in a series of three unofficial Test matches against South Africa in Bloemfontein in November-December last year.
According to a report in ESPNcricinfo, New Zealands A team will reach India later this month. The team will participate in a series of three four-day matches. All these List A matches will be played in Bangalore. A match can also be played with pink ball (Day-Night Test) on this tour but the approval for this is yet to be received from the BCCI. The New Zealand "A" team also played a pink ball match in Vijayawada on the 2017-18 tour. The tour will coincide with the Duleep Trophy, which will be played from September 8 to 25.
Australia A in November, The BCCI is also in talks with Cricket Australia for the A teams tour of India. According to the report, "BCCI is in talks with Cricket Australia for a tour at the end of the year. The tour is likely to take place in November. The tour will take place before the start of the Ranji Trophy and before Indias next Test
