Kolkata Knight Riders highest IPL score was against Delhi Capitals in Vizag in 2024. They scored a huge score of 272/7 in 20 overs and Narine scored 85 runs in 39 balls. KKR scored 88 runs losing one wicket in the powerplay. DC was all out for 166 runs and lost by 106 runs.
Mumbai indians scored a total of 183/7 against Chennai Super Kings at the Wankhede Stadium in IPL 2015. CSK got off to a great start while chasing the score. Dwayne Smith scored 62 runs in 30 balls and Brendon McCullum scored 46 runs in 20 balls, adding 109 runs in 7.2 overs. CSK added 90 runs in the first six overs and won the game by scoring 189/4 in 16.4 overs.
In the Qualifier 2 match of IPL 2014, PBKS scored a massive score of 226/6 in the first innings. Thanks to this century, Virender Sehwag had scored 122 runs in 58 balls. In reply, CSK scored 100/2 in the first six overs, but CSK lost by 24 runs.
In 2017, RCB was successful in scoring 158/6 runs in the first innings at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium. Chasing the score, Chris Lynn scored 50 runs in 22 balls and Sunil Narine scored 54 runs in 17 balls and added 105 runs in the powerplay. KKR won the match by scoring 159/4 runs in 15.1 overs.
Sunrisers Hyderabad has set the record for KKR's highest score in the powerplay. In the 2024 match against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium, he scored 125 runs in the first six overs. Travis Head scored a half-century in 16 balls and Abhishek Sharma scored 46 runs in 12 balls. SRH scored a huge score of 266/7 and bowled out DC for 199 runs and Sunrisers Hyderabad won the match by 67 runs.
