Delhi Premier League (DPL) Schedule, Teams, Date, Venue

On the lines of Indian Premier League (IPL), Delhi Premier League is also starting in Delhi. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag has been made the brand ambassador of this league. The complete schedule of the first season of this league has been revealed. The league is starting from 17 August and will be played till 7 September.

Delhi Premier League (DPL)

On the lines of IPL, T-20 Delhi Premier League (DPL) is going to be organized in Delhi soon. This league will be played from 17th August to 8th September at Arun Jaitley Stadium. A total of 40 matches will be played in the first season of DPL. There will be women's matches as well. In the league, 33 matches will be played in the men's category and 7 in the women's category.

dpl 2024: brand ambassador

Virender Sehwag has been declared the brand ambassador of DPL. Stars like Rishabh Pant, Ishant Sharma, Navdeep Saini, Nitish Rana will be seen in the league. DPL is being organized by Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA). The schedule of the league has been released on Tuesday. The first match will be played between Old Delhi-6 and South Delhi Superstars. The final matches of both men's and women's categories will be played on 8 September.
