CWG Badminton Mens Singles Final: Indian badminton player Lakshya Sen has won gold in the ongoing Commonwealth Games 2022 in Birmingham. He defeated Tze Yong Ng of Malaysia in the final match of mens singles badminton. Lakshya Sen registered a 19-21, 21-9, 21-16 win against Ji Yong.
This final match between Lakshya Sen and Ji Yong was very tough. From the very beginning, both the players kept giving tough competition to each other. Lakshya Sen lost his first game here 19-21. At one time the match was level at 18-18, but in the last, the goals were lagging behind.
In the second game also, the competition of equality continued. Lakshya was trailing 6-8 here but then came back strongly and overtook Ji Yong 21-9. After this, in the third game, Lakshya maintained the lead from the beginning. Lakshya won the third game 21-16. Let us tell you that before this match, Lakshya Sen had clashed with Ji Yong twice. The goal was won in both these matches as well.
