Sai Sudharsan slipped to second place despite enjoying a brilliant campaign for Gujarat Titans.
The left-handed opener currently has 554 runs in 13 matches and remains only one run behind Klaasen. Gujarat Titans captain Shubman Gill is also firmly in contention with 552 runs from 12 games.
The close gap among the top three batters means the Orange Cap race could change after every innings in the remaining league matches.
Virat Kohli And KL Rahul Remain In Contention
Virat Kohli continues to enjoy another excellent IPL season for Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Kohli currently occupies fourth place with 542 runs in 13 matches, while KL Rahul is fifth with 530 runs for Delhi Capitals.
Both experienced Indian batters remain strong contenders for the Orange Cap heading into the final phase of IPL 2026.

Ishan Kishan played a match-winning innings of 70 runs for Sunrisers Hyderabad and climbed to seventh place in the Orange Cap standings.
