The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), hosts of the 2025 (hybrid) Champions Trophy, have officially informed the International Cricket Council (ICC) that the United Arab Emirates (UAE) will be their preferred neutral venue for India's matches. According to a report by RevSportz, the India vs Pakistan match is scheduled for February 23, 2025.

In the group stage, each team will play 3 matches with the other teams in its group. Teams will get points for their games. At the end of the group stage, the top 2 teams from each group based on the most points and Net Run Rate (NRR) will advance to the semi-finals.
