BCCI Central Contract 2025 : BCCI announces central contracts for women team

BCCI Annual Player Contracts 2025: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the central contract of the women's team on Monday. The board has divided 16 players into 3 categories. Grade A includes 3 players including Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur. Grade B has 4 players including Shefali Verma and Grade C has 9 players.

The BCCI has included Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur along with all-rounder Deepti Sharma in category A of the central contract. Renuka Singh, Jemima Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh and Shefali Verma have been included in list B. The BCCI will soon release the list of central contracts for the men's national team as well.

BCCI announces central contracts for women team

  • Grade A: Harmanpreet Kaur, Smriti Mandhana, Deepti Sharma
  • Grade B: Renuka Singh, Jemimah Rodrigues, Richa Ghosh, Shafali Verma
  • Grade C: Yastika Bhatia, Radha Yadav, Shreyanka Patil, Titas Sadhu, Arundhati Reddy, Amanjot Kaur, Uma Chhetri, Sneh Rana, Pooja Vastrakar.
  • How much money will be received in BCCI central contract

    Smriti Mandhana, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepti Sharma included in Grade A will get Rs 50 lakh each annually. 4 players included in Grade B will get Rs 30 lakh each annually. 9 women players included in Grade C will get Rs 10 lakh each annually.

    In the year 2022, BCCI had announced that male and female cricketers will be given equal match fees. However, there is a difference in the annual central contract. Male cricketers have been placed in 4 categories and female cricketers in 3 categories. Men's C category players get more money than women's A category players.

    Talking about the central contract of Indian male cricketers, Grade A players get Rs 5 crore annually. Grade B players get Rs 3 crore and Grade C players get Rs 1 crore. Grade A Plus is the largest in men's cricket, players included in it get Rs 7 crore annually.
