In Bumrah's absence, the BCCI's men's selection committee has placed its trust in Auqib Nabi, a 27-year-old seam-bowling all-rounder from Baramulla (Jammu & Kashmir). This selection is a reward for the consistent and stellar performances Auqib has delivered over the last two Ranji Trophy seasons.
