AFG vs IND: Head coach Rahul Dravid has made a big disclosure about Kuldeep Yadav's place in the Indian team. Dravid took part in the press conference before the match against Afghanistan. During this, Dravid said that Kuldeep Yadav can play an important role on the West Indies pitch. Speaking at the press conference, Dravid said that keeping Yuzvendra Chahal out of the team has also been a very difficult decision.
India will play its first match against Afghanistan in the T20 World Cup 2024 Super-8. Both the teams will face each other on June 20 in Barbados. Before the match, Rahul Dravid has indicated that Kuldeep or Yuzvendra Chahal can be given a chance in the playing XI by resting a pacer against Afghanistan.
Dravid said, it was very difficult, believe me it was a very difficult decision to keep the four players out of the match so far. All these players are quality players. At that time the decision was taken according to the circumstances, match venue and the need of the team. The role of spin in New York was not as important as it is going to be in the West Indies.
