Indian car manufacturer Mahindra & Mahindra is preparing to expand its portfolio this year. It will start from April 29 with the launch of the facelift model of XUV300. Recently this car has been seen several times during testing.
Mahindra XUV300 facelift will be showcased on April 29. The company has released the official teaser of the upcoming car. According to the teaser, Mahindra XUV300 facelift will be launched with a new name. It has been named XUV 3XO.
The price of the car could start from Rs 9 lakh (ex-showroom). In the segment, it will compete with Maruti Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Toyota Urban Cruiser Tagger.
This model will get many cosmetic and feature upgrades compared to the current edition. The teaser gives a glimpse of the compact SUV's new connected taillights and bumper. Mahindra has modified its tailgate to add a new lighting setup. Apart from Mahindra's Twin Peak logo, new 'XUV 3XO' badging has also been given in it.
The front look of the car has been completely new. It has chrome-finished triangular elements on the front grille, near which there is a new headlight cluster. Apart from this, XUV 3XO will be provided with fang shaped LED DRL, projector headlight, fog lamp, electric sunroof and new design layered spoke alloy wheels.
The company has not revealed the complete interior look of Mahindra XUV300 facelift, but the teaser has shown a glimpse of its new seat upholstery and new touchscreen unit. Like the XUV400, the XUV 3XO will have a 10.25-inch dual digital display (one for instrumentation and the other for infotainment), wireless phone charging and ventilated front seats.
It is estimated that the company can also provide segment-first panoramic sunroof feature in it. For safety, it can be provided with many Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) features including 6 airbags, electronic parking brake, 360-degree camera.
Mahindra XUV 3XO is expected to be offered with petrol and diesel engine options like the current model. This includes a 1.5-litre diesel engine, 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine and 1.2-litre direct injection turbo petrol (TGDI) engine. However, the car can also be provided with a 1.2-litre turbo petrol TGDI engine, which will come with a 6-speed automatic gearbox.
