After winning the T20 World Cup, Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli have won a big award. Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma was named 'Men's International Cricketer of the Year' at the CEAT Cricket Rating Awards 2023-24, while former head coach Rahul Dravid was honored with the 'Lifetime Achievement Honor'
In this ceremony, Indian batsman Virat Kohli was named 'Men's ODI Batsman of the Year', while Mohammed Shami, who took the most wickets in the 2023 Cricket World Cup, was declared 'ODI Bowler of the Year'.
Apart from this, Yashasvi Jaiswal, who scored 712 runs in the Test series against England, was declared 'Men's Test Batsman of the Year' and R Ashwin was declared 'Men's Test Bowler of the Year'. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah was honored for excellence in sports administration. Jay Shah said that the Indian team will focus on winning more trophies in the future.
New Zealand's Tim Southee was named 'Men's T20 Bowler of the Year' while England's Phil Salt was named 'Best Batsman of the Year' in the shortest format.
