Pulsar NS200, NS160 and NS125 versions to be launched in 2024

Bajaj Auto has updated the entire range of its popular naked street fighter bike Pulsar NS. In this, the company has launched 2024 models of NS200, NS160 and NS125 in the Indian market. Bajaj has made technical upgrades along with cosmetic changes in the bikes. The bikes have upside-down (USD) forks and dual channel anti-lock braking system (ABS).

In the Indian market, NS160 will compete with bikes like TVS Apache RTR 160 4V, Hero Extreme 160R and Honda XBlade 160 in the segment. At the same time, NS200 will compete with bikes like TVS Apache RTR 200 4V and KTM Duke 200 in its segment. NS125 competes with bikes like Honda SP125, Hero Glamor Xtec and TVS Raider in the segment.

Pulsar bikes New lighting setup

The biggest change on the bikes is the new LED headlight setup, which has integrated twin Thunderbolt-shaped DRLs. LED turn signals complete the bike's refreshed lighting package. This now makes the naked street fighter bike look even more sporty.

The semi-digital console in the Pulsar NS160 and NS200 has been replaced by a new digital instrument console. This digital display is equipped with features like distance-to-empty and access turn-by-turn navigation with Bluetooth connectivity. Basic information like speedometer, odometer, tripmeter, tachometer, fuel gauge, clock, and gear position indicator are visible on the digital cluster.

Apart from this, it also shows incoming call and SMS alerts, phone's battery percentage and signal level. The switchgear on the left has also been updated to navigate from the new digital console. However, turn-by-turn navigation feature will not be available with Bajaj Pulsar NS125.

Bajaj Pulsar NS Range: Engine and Power

The company has not made any mechanical changes in the bikes. Like before, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has a 199.5CC single cylinder liquid cooled, triple spark, 4-valve FI DTS-i engine, which generates power of 24.5 PS and torque of 18.74 Nm. This engine is tuned with 6 speed manual gearbox.

At the same time, Pulsar NS160 has a 160.3CC single cylinder oil-cooled Twin Spark DTS-i FI engine, which generates power of 17.2 PS and torque of 14.6 Nm. It is tuned with a 5 speed manual gearbox.

Pulsar NS125 has a 124.45CC single cylinder oil-cooled Twin Spark DTS-i FI engine, which generates 12 PS power and 11 Nm torque. It is tuned with a 5 speed manual gearbox.
