PM Modi inaugurates Sudarshan Setu, will dedicate five new AIIMS to the nation
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is on Gujarat tour today. PM Modi inaugurated Sudarshan Setu in Dwarka connecting Okha mainland and Dwarka.Sudarshan Setu is 2.32 km long
Sudarshan Setu was earlier known as 'Signature Bridge'. However, its name was later changed to 'Sudarshan Setu'. 'Sudarshan Setu' is the longest cable-stayed bridge in India, connecting Okha Mainland and Dwarka Island. This is about 2.32 km long bridge. This bridge has been built at a cost of Rs 978 crore. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel was also present along with Prime Minister Modi during the inauguration.
Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi performed worship and darshan at Bet Dwarka temple. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the indoor-patient department of All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) today. Also, PM Modi will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of several development projects worth more than Rs 4,150 crore in Dwarka.
Prime Minister did a road show in Jamnagar, Gujarat
PM Modi took out a road show from Jamnagar Airport in Gujarat to Circuit House on Saturday night. During this, the people standing to welcome him raised slogans of Modi, Modi and Bharat Mata ki Jai. PM also did not disappoint him. He raised his hand and greeted his fans standing in large numbers on both sides of the road. PM rested for the night at Jamnagar Circuit House itself.
