New blue color of Jawa 350 Classic revealed in India

Two-wheeler maker Jawa Motorcycles has revealed a new color variant of its new classic bike Jawa 350 in the Indian market at the Mahindra Blues Festival. The updated version of Jawa Yezdi Standard is currently available in India in three color options – Black, Mystic Orange and Maroon. The bike will be launched soon with a new color.

The new Jawa 350 Classic has a powerful 334cc engine instead of the 294cc engine found in the Jawa Standard model. The company had introduced Jawa 350 in January-2024 at a starting ex-showroom price of Rs 2.15 lakh. Jawa is also offering 5 years warranty with the bike. Its price has now increased by Rs 12,000.

New Jawa 350 Classic: Design and Features

Talking about the looks of the new Jawa 350, it has been developed on a new double cardal frame and the bike is seen in overall retro design. It looks quite different from the current standard model. It has features like a muscular 13.5-litre fuel tank, flat seat, round headlight, 8-inch wheels and all-LED lighting.

Seat height management is 790mm and the new Jawa 350 gets 178mm of ground clearance. The weight of the bike is 192 kg. It also has a semi-digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity.

The latest Jawa 350 has a 334cc single-cylinder engine, which generates maximum power of 22bhp at 7,000rpm and peak torque of 28Nm at 5,000rpm. This engine is also used in Perak which is included in the company's lineup. With the new engine, the peak torque of the Jawa 350 has increased by 1Nm, but the power has dropped by 4.8bhp compared to the earlier 293cc engine.

Talking about transmission, the engine is tuned with a 6-speed gearbox. Slip and assist clutch has been provided for the first time in the bike. The company claims that the bike can run at a top speed of 135 kmph and will give a mileage of about 18 to 22 kilometers in one liter of petrol.

New Jawa 350 Classic: Braking and Suspension

For comfort riding, the bike has been provided with telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorber system at the rear end. With this, the bike will perform better on roads and off-roading. To avoid skidding on the roads during braking, the Jawa 350 Classic bike has disc brakes installed on both the wheels along with Anti Braking System (ABS).
