New-Gen Kia Carnival
The new gen Kia Carnival is going to be launched in India within the next few months. Talking about design and features, the all new Kia Carnival is going to be equipped with advanced features. It will continue to be powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine, which produces 200 PS of power and 440 Nm of torque. This powertrain will likely be offered with an 8-speed automatic transmission.
MG's MPV
MG's upcoming electric MPV will be based on the Wuling Cloud EV, which has already been spotted testing in India. It is likely to arrive in the Indian market within the next year. The company can launch it at a possible price of Rs 15 lakh.
Maruti Suzuki Compact MPV & e-MPV
Maruti Suzuki is developing a compact MPV, which will be positioned below the Ertiga in its lineup to compete with the Renault Triber. It is reported that this upcoming MPV will take cues from the Spacia model. The company may consider using the upcoming 1.2L Z series mild hybrid petrol engine for this MPV, which aims to deliver an efficiency of over 35 kmpl.
Nissan Triber based MPV
Nissan is preparing to introduce facelifted Magnite and X-Trail. If reports are to be believed, the company is developing a 7-seater model on the platform of the new generation Duster. Additionally, a compact MPV sharing the platform with the Renault Triber is also in the plans.
