Stars have vulnerable times, even with their seemingly flawless lifestyles as depicted on social media, as actor Mrunal Thakur has acknowledged. She just uploaded a raw image of herself on Instagram Stories, clearly in tears. The performer has recently talked about how she would sometimes not want to get out of bed. Mrunal also disclosed that she is frequently the target of body shaming and promised to alter her beauty standards.
Mrunal discussed the tendency for individuals to act as though everything is flawless on the internet in an interview with Humans of Bombay. 'There were times when I didn't want to get out of bed or get up, but I did, for me, not for anybody else. One day, two days, three days, weeks, months—I may be depressed, and no one will notice except your family. Therefore, I think it's crucial to constantly remind ourselves that wonderful days will still come even on our terrible days. That served as confirmation that there are days when feeling unwell is perfectly natural, the speaker explained.
Mrunal saw that many users on social media appeared to be on vacation, posting just the finest photos, but she questioned whether this was only to demonstrate that they were having a really good time. She acknowledged that she usually ends up coated in dirt and sand whether dining or at the beach, making her appearance less than ideal.
Speaking candidly about body positivity, Mrunal revealed that she experienced trolling because of her 'pear-shaped body.' 'I'm going to change that beauty standard by showing off my curves,' the woman declared. I used to be so terrified to wear anything that hugged my body. However, now I'm thinking, 'Body-hugging? Go ahead and do it. What about crop tops? Go ahead and do it. Why do we need the Kardashians to define what constitutes beauty? Every Indian lady you see strolling down the street is stunning and curvy.
The actor talked about relationships and striking the correct balance as well. In addition, she considered the remarks made by actress Mona Singh on the freezing of her eggs and stated, "I know relationships are difficult, but you need the right partner who understands the demands of your work." Indeed, I am also thinking of freezing the eggs.
Regarding her career, Mrunal most recently starred alongside Vijay Devarakonda in the movie The Family Star.
