Made in India Aprilia RS 457 launched in UK
Aprilia has launched its premium sportbike RS 457 in the UK. The new Aprilia RS 457 has been designed and developed at Aprilia's headquarters in Noala, Italy and is targeted at A2 license holders in the UK. This full-faired motorcycle will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 500, Yamaha R3 and the KTM RC 390.
Aprilia has launched its premium sportbike RS 457 in the UK. Let us tell you that the global launch of Aprilia RS 457 took place last year and it was launched in India in December last year. This bike is manufactured in the country at Piaggio's Baramati facility in Maharashtra. It will be exported to overseas markets including North America, Europe and now the UK.
Aprilia RS 457 Design
The new Aprilia RS 457 has been designed and developed at Aprilia's head quarter in Noala, Italy and is targeted at A2 license holders in the UK. This full-faired motorcycle will compete with the Kawasaki Ninja 500, Yamaha R3 and KTM RC 390. It looks like a mini RS 660 with the signature LED DRLs, sharp-style fairing and 5-inch TFT screen.
Aprilia RS 457 Engine
To power the Aprilia RS 457, a 457 cc parallel-twin, liquid-cooled motor is provided, which produces 47 bhp power and 43.5 Nm peak torque. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox with a slip-and-assist clutch, while the company offers a bi-directional quickshifter as an option. The bike uses USD forks at the front and a monoshock at the rear, while braking performance comes from disc brakes at either end along with dual-channel ABS.

Talking about other features, it includes LED lighting, multiple rider mode, traction control, dual-channel ABS and anti-roll system. RS 457 has 17 inch alloy wheels and its weight is 175 kg.
Aprilia RS 457 Price
The Aprilia RS 457 is priced at £6,500 (approximately ₹6.79 lakh), making it significantly more expensive than Indian prices. In comparison, the motorcycle is priced at Rs 4.10 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The Aprilia RS 457 is available exclusively at Motoplex dealerships across the country and is available in three colors globally.
