The Jeep Wrangler Facelift will get the all-black treatment and the trademark 7-slat design will be thinner than before. Also, it gets new alloy wheels, many wheel shapes and roof options. Jeep India will likely bring soft top and hard top options to the Indian market.
There will be subtle changes in its cabin also. This updated dashboard layout includes a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system and repositioned AC vents, which are going to be standard on all trims. The Wrangler facelift will also get Jeep's latest Uconnect 5 user interface, which will bring more connected technology to the off-roader. In addition, there will be a new Trails Offroad Guide with 62 off-road trails included in the system. Other upgrades will include features like 12-way electrically adjustable front seats, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a semi-digital instrument console.
To power the Jeep Wrangler facelift, a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine will be used, which is tuned to produce 266 bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque. This powertrain is paired with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The SUV will also get Jeep Selec-Trac full-time four-wheel drive (4WD) system. Let us tell you that there will be no diesel engine for the Indian market.
Wrangler is currently available in two variants – Unlimited and Rubicon. We hope this continues on the facelifted model as well. These variants are currently priced between ₹62.65 lakh and ₹66.65 lakh (ex-showroom) respectively. The facelift version may be a little more expensive than this.
