IPL 2024: Ravindra Jadeja created history: The 22nd match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 was played between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. On the basis of Ravindra Jadeja's all-round performance, CSK defeated KKR by seven wickets. Jadeja took three wickets for 18 runs in four overs and for this he was adjudged player of the match. Jadeja made Sunil Narine, Angirash Raghuvanshi and Venkatesh Iyer his victims.
Jadeja took a brilliant catch of Phil Salt. Salt became the victim of a golden duck on the very first ball of the match off the bowling of fast bowler Tushar Deshpande. Jadeja has created a new history by taking the catch of Salt. He has now become the fifth player to take 100 IPL catches after Virat Kohli, Suresh Raina, Kieron Pollard and Rohit Sharma.
