Pakistan's seventh defeat at the hands of India in the history of ICC T20 World Cup became a reason of happiness for Indian fans, while it was a matter of heartbreak for Pakistani fans. Especially for that fan, who had sold his tractor to see Pakistan win. After the match, the scene outside the Nassau County International Cricket Stadium was worth seeing. There 'Neela Samandar' was doing passionate dance steps on the dhol and shouting slogans of 'India India'. Among them was a Pakistani fan, who had bought the match ticket by spending 3,000 dollars (2.5 lakh rupees in Indian currency). For this, the fan had sold his tractor, but he could not see the Pakistan team win the match.

The fan said, 'I sold my tractor to buy a ticket worth 3000 US dollars. When we saw India's score, we did not think that we would lose this match. We thought it would be an easy win. The match was in our hands, but people got disappointed after Babar Azam was out. I congratulate all you Indian fans.'India won by 6 runs
Pakistan won the toss and decided to bowl first. The Indian batsmen performed disappointingly and were all out for 119 runs in 20 overs. Chasing the target, Pakistan could only score 113 runs for 7 wickets in 20 overs and lost the match by 6 runs. India registered its 7th win over Pakistan in the T20 World Cup.
