Earlier, Y Ravishankar, the producer of the film starring actor Nithin, had informed about David's participation. During the promotion event of the film 'Kingston' starring actor GV Prakash, when an anchor asked producer Y Ravishankar for an update about his film 'Robin Hood', he gave this information. He said that Australian cricketer David Warner has done a cameo in the film for the happiness of fans and film lovers.
The producer also apologized to director Venky Kudumula for revealing the information without his permission.
