Chrome edition of Yamaha FZ-X bike launched for 1.40 lakh

India Yamaha Motor (IYM) Private Limited has launched the chrome color edition of its cruiser bike in the Indian market today i.e. on 7th February. The company has kept its ex-showroom price at Rs 1.40 lakh. Yamaha had showcased this bike at the recently held Bharat Mobility Show 2024.

The bike comes with safety features like traction control. Apart from the new color option, there has been no change in the design, features and dimensions of the bike. Apart from the chrome model, Yamaha FZ-X is also available in matte titan, dark matte blue, metallic black and matte copper color options.

The first 100 online booking customers of this variant will get a free Casio G-Shock watch on delivery of the bike. You can book it from Yamaha India website for Rs 2,000. Yamaha says that delivery will be based on stock availability. This may take about 45 days.

Yamaha FZ-X : Performance

Yamaha FZ-X has a 149cc single-cylinder engine, which generates power of 12.4ps at 7250rpm and peak torque of 13.3Nm at 5500rpm. The engine is tuned with a 5-speed gearbox for transmission. For suspension, the bike has been provided with inverted telescopic forks at the front and dual shock absorbers at the rear.

Y-Connect App

Y-Connect app will be available with 2024 Yamaha FZ-X Deluxe bikes. With this app the bike and mobile will be connected to each other. In this, phone notifications can be seen on the instrument cluster screen of the bike.

This includes call alerts, SMS, e-mail, app connectivity status and phone battery level status. Bike notifications can be seen on the phone. It includes fuel consumption tracker, maintenance recommendation, last parking location malfunction notification, revs dashboard and ranking.
