Press Release
ISTANBUL, Türkiye - October 16, 2026 - BuBa Games has released Update 8 for Cartoon Crime, its open-world crime sandbox currently available in Steam Early Access for Windows PC.
The update expands the game with a new northeastern desert continent inspired by the Wild West. New locations include Redstone Canyon, Dustwing Airfield, a nuclear power plant and volcanic islands offshore.
Update 8 also adds rally and armored vehicles, additional drivable desert tanks and a new story mission, Beneath the Sand. Police behavior has been made more aggressive, while co-op synchronization and performance during police chases have also received further work.
Cartoon Crime is built around the ability to switch freely between third-person and classic top-down gameplay in the same open world. Players can follow missions or explore freely, drive vehicles, recruit bodyguards, fight or escape from police and visit enterable locations and side activities.
