Chinese automobile company BYD (Build Your Dreams) has launched its new electric sedan Seal in the Indian market. Its starting price is Rs 41 lakh (ex-showroom). The company has introduced it with many upgrades and great technology. Actually, this car has features like great range, high-end technology and long-life battery, which make it different from other electric cars.
How is the battery, charging and range?
The BYD Seal has a lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery which is extremely lightweight and comes with a life of 15 years. Once fully charged, this car gives a range of 650 km. Using a DC fast charger, it can be charged enough to run 200 km in just 15 minutes. At the same time, it takes only 45 minutes to charge 80%.
Luxurious cabin and interior
The interior of the BYD Seal is very premium and modern. It has a 15.6-inch rotating touchscreen, which the user can rotate as per his convenience. Along with this, a 10.25-inch full digital instrument console is available which gives all the important information related to driving. The car has a crystal gearshift, wireless charging, head-up display (HUD) and full metal body, which makes it even more special. The cabin of this car is designed in a dark theme and is designed on the "Ocean Aesthetics" concept, which gives a premium experience when sitting inside.
Safety and comfort features
The BYD Seal gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto support, which makes the infotainment even more comfortable. Apart from this, it has an upgraded air conditioning system which gives better cooling and air purification. The sound wave function enhances the music experience inside the cabin. The car also includes features like silver plated dimming canopy, head-up display and full suspension upgrade.

The length of BYD Seal is 4,800 mm, width 1,875 mm and height 1,460 mm. Its wheelbase is 2,920 mm which gives a lot of leg space inside. The ground clearance of this car is 149 mm. Talking about storage, it has a front trunk space of 53 liters and boot space of 400 liters, which is best for traveling.

The company has launched BYD Seal in three variants. Its first variant is Dynamic RWD, whose ex-showroom price has been kept at Rs 41.00 lakh. The second variant is Premium RWD, which is priced at Rs 45.70 lakh. The top variant Performance AWD has been priced at Rs 53.15 lakh. All these variants differ on the basis of their battery capacity, driving range and technical features.
