BGMI Naye Khiladi Championship 2026: Schedule, Prize Pool & Format

Nodwin Gaming has announced the BGMI: Naye Khiladi Championship 2026, a new tournament for upcoming Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) players. The event is organized by Nodwin Gaming and powered by Krafton India Esports.

The tournament aims to help new and rising players showcase their skills and make a name for themselves in the Indian esports scene. It also gives amateur teams a chance to compete at a higher level and gain valuable experience.

BGMI: Naye Khiladi 2026 Schedule

The tournament will run for almost two months, starting with registrations in June and ending with the Grand Finals in August.

Full Tournament Schedule

Registrations June 15 – June 21, 2026
In-Game Qualifiers June 26 – June 30, 2026
Round 1 (1,024 Teams) July 6 – July 12, 2026
Round 2 (256 Teams) July 23 – July 26, 2026
Quarterfinals (64 Teams) July 28 – July 31, 2026
Semifinals (32 Teams) August 2 – August 5, 2026
Grand Finals (16 Teams) August 7 – August 9, 2026

Thousands of teams are expected to take part, but only the top 16 teams will reach the Grand Finals.

Tournament Format

The championship will start with open registrations. After that, teams will compete in in-game qualifiers.

The number of teams will reduce after every round:

  • Round 1: 1,024 teams
  • Round 2: 256 teams
  • Quarterfinals: 64 teams
  • Semifinals: 32 teams
  • Grand Finals: 16 teams

The best-performing teams will move forward until a champion is crowned.

BGMI: Naye Khiladi Prize Pool

The tournament features a total prize pool of ₹10 lakh.

Special MVP Award

Apart from the team prizes, Krafton India Esports will also reward the tournament's best individual player.

The Most Valuable Player (MVP) will receive:

  • ₹10,000 cash prize
  • Special recognition from Krafton India Esports

The award will be given to the player who shows outstanding gameplay, skills, and consistency throughout the tournament.
