Bernardo Silva joined Manchester City in 2017 and has since become one of the team's key players, although his contributions are often overshadowed by brighter stars like De Bruyne, Aguero or Haaland. The Portuguese is a true conductor of the City game, masterfully controlling the tempo and finding the best solution to create dangerous moments.

His actions often go unnoticed

Silva is not a high scorer, but his role in organizing the attack and his dedication on the field are invaluable. Bernardo's versatility, able to play at centre, wing and even in defence, makes him indispensable for Pep Guardiola. By convincing the Portuguese to extend his contract until the summer of 2022, the coach made perhaps the best investment in the team's success.

Bernardo himself does not hide the fact that he wants to finish his career in Benfica, where he started his career in big football.

If this season is indeed Silver's end at Manchester City, he will certainly do his best to leave on a high note. The Portuguese dream of a fourth championship title and another treble, as City are heavy favorites in all tournaments. As long as Bernard remains in action, City will claim every trophy possible, but his departure could be a serious blow to Guardiola's side.
