Will Uganda replace Pakistan? An ICC decision could turn the tables
Uganda to replace Pakistan: Pakistan announced on 1 February that they will participate in the T20 World Cup 2026 but will boycott the T20 World Cup group stage match against India (15 February 2026). This announcement by the government put an end to all the speculations that were doing the rounds about their non-participation in the tournament. The Pakistan government took this decision after Bangladesh withdrew from the tournament because they refused to play the match in India.
