• Australia's Collapse: Chasing 170 runs, Australia had a very poor start. They lost 4 wickets in the powerplay itself (29/4).
• Fighting Knock: Matt Renshaw raised hopes by scoring 65 runs, but wickets kept falling from the other end. Glenn Maxwell also scored 31 runs, but it was not enough.
• Bowling Hero: Blessing Muzarabani took 4 wickets for 17 runs, completing his 100th T20I wicket. He was named Player of the Match.

This is Zimbabwe's second major victory against Australia in T20 World Cup history (the first was in 2007). This makes Australia's path to the Super 8s a little more difficult.
