The top four batters showcased a poor performance with the bat, but thankfully Mohammad Hafeez, Harry Brook and David Wiese stood up at the right time. Mohammad Hafeez was the top scorer with a solid 69, whereas Harry Brook and David Wiese finished off the innings with powerful knocks to reach a total of 180 runs. Multan Sultans put forward a shocking performance with the bat. Khushdil Shah was the only batter to score above thirty runs which resulted in the overall chase as well. Multan Sultans ended up with just 138 runs and lost by a big margin of 42 runs. Shaheen Afridi, Mohammad Hafeez and Zaman Khan all starred with the bowl for Lahore Qalandars to help them lift their maiden PSL trophy. The player of the match was awarded to Mohammad Hafeez for his all-round performance and Mohammad Rizwan was named the player of the series.
