MI Cape Town had a rocky start to their innings as they lost Dewald Brevis and Ryan Rickelton in the powerplay. A fifty from Grant Roelefsen and quick-fire cameo from Delano Potgieter helped them to a decent total of 152/8 at the end of the first innings.
Durban's Super Giants started firing from the get-go as Kyle Mayers scored a brisk 34 while Keemo Paul provided the fire at the end as the visitors chased the target down in 16.3 overs.
