Adelaide Strikers put on a decent total of 147 runs on the board and Deandra Dottin was the top scorer with an unbeaten half-century. Sydney Sixers did not look in their best form as some of the main batters were quickly dismissed. Adelaide Strikers picked up wickets in crucial intervals which allowed them to restrict Sydney Sixers to just 137 runs. The match ended with Adelaide Strikers winning by 10 runs and becoming the champion of the WBBL 2022.
