The Aussie tail-enders scored some vital runs and declared for a total of 556 runs. Pakistan then started their first innings but showcased a poor batting performance. In a batting-friendly pitch, Pakistan was only able to score 148 runs. Babar Azam was the top scorer with 36 runs and Mitchell Starc shined with a three-wicket haul for the visitors. Later, Australia began their second innings, but David Warner got out early. Usman Khawaja and Marnus Labuschange stood unbeaten till stumps with a total of 81 runs to help their side to end day three on a high note.
