Sri Lanka resumed their batting on Day 2 on 315 for 6 the loss of 6 wickets. Pakistan was quick enough to take over the 1st session of the day with some brilliant bowling which only allowed Sri Lanka to score 63 runs on Day 2. In response to this, Sri Lanka powered through the Pakistan top order and middle restricting them to a low score of 191 for the loss of 7 wickets.
