India won the toss and elected to bowl first in the 2nd ODI. Zimbabwe crumbled for 161 runs against the Indian bowling attack. It was a low-score chase but Indian batters faced some trouble in the middle. In the end, it was Sanju Samson who stepped up with a brilliant 43 run knock to take India over the line. Sanju Samson was also named the player of the match for his match-winning innings and for some excellent wicket keeping.
