In the 1st T20I, Pakistan won the toss and decided to bat first. Pakistan lost some early wickets but still managed to score 182 runs in 19.5 overs. During the chase, New Zealand batters had a hard time in the crease. The visitors soon got all out for just 94 runs in 15.3 overs giving Pakistan a massive 88-run victory.
