England was put to bat first by Australia in the 1st T20I. Captain Jos Buttler and Alex Hales played a destructive innings and took apart the Aussie bowling attack. Thanks to their contribution, England made a fabulous total of 208. David Warner led the chase for Australia with a vital 73 and Marcus Stoinis showcased his hitting abilities but could not take them home. Mark Wood's 3 timely wickets and Sam Curran's final over helped England to find an eight-run victory in the end.
