Abouts Motherwell F.c.:

Motherwell Football Club is a Scottish professional football club based in Motherwell, North Lanarkshire, that plays in the Scottish Premiership. Motherwell has not dropped out of the top tier of Scottish football since 1985 and has won one trophy during that period—the Scottish Cup in 1991.

Due to the town's history of steel production, the club is nicknamed "The Steelmen" or, more briefly, "The 'Well". Clad in their traditional claret and amber kits, Motherwell play their home matches at Fir Park, a venue they have used since 1896. Over the years, the club's main rivals have been Hamilton Academical and Airdrieonians, partly due to their close geographical proximity; these matches are known as the Lanarkshire derby.

The club has won four major domestic trophies: the Scottish League title in 1931–32, the Scottish Cup in 1951–52 and 1990–91, and the Scottish League Cup in 1950–51.
