The remaining two spots were filled by Bangladesh and Ireland, who advanced through the qualification tournament held in 2022.

The seven teams with the highest rankings in the ICC Women's T20I Rankings as of November 30, 2021, who also competed in the 2020 ICC Women's T20 World Cup in Australia, joined them.
