In view of the ICC Under-19 World Cup to be held in 2026, the teams have started preparing for the event by hosting bilateral matches. Defending champions Australia will tour India for three 50-over games and two four-day matches, which will be played in Puducherry and Chennai respectively.
The first of the three ODIs will start on September 21 in Puducherry, while the first multi-day match will begin on September 30 in Chennai. Uttar Pradesh's Mohammad Aman will lead the Indian ODI team, while Madhya Pradesh's Soham Patwardhan will lead the multi-day team.
