Marnus Labuschagne has been dropped from the team and Steve Smith will not play in this match due to injury.
In the first Test match against West Indies, Sam Constas will open the innings with Usman Khawaja. Cameron Green will once again be seen playing at number three. Josh Inglis will bat at number 4 in place of injured Smith. After him Travis Head will be seen at number 5 and wicketkeeper batsman Alex Carey will be seen at number 6.
