Free entry for fans at Wankhede Stadium: Maharashtra Cricket Association (MCA) has given great news to cricket fans. MCA has allowed free entry for fans to Wankhede Stadium for India's T20 World Cup victory parade. The MCA chairman announced this when the Indian team returned home on Thursday. Mumbai Cricket Association has allowed free entry for fans to Wankhede Stadium for India's T20 World Cup victory parade on Thursday evening. On reaching Delhi on Thursday morning, the Men in Blue reached the hotel. From here the team reached PM residence for breakfast with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After meeting PM Modi, the team has left for Mumbai from Delhi.

Team India Victory Parade

The BCCI has organised a one-kilometre victory parade from Nariman Point (Marine Drive) to Wankhede, followed by a small ceremony at the Wankhede Stadium. Mumbai Police has advised commuters to avoid travelling on this route during the victory procession. Traffic diversion arrangements will be in place from 3 pm to 9 pm on Thursday.
