AUS vs PAK Aamer Jamal: The second day of the Test match being played between Australia and Pakistan at Perth ground was in the name of the visiting team. After bowling out Australia for 487 runs in the first innings, Pakistan made a strong start in the first innings. Wreaking havoc in the debut match, Aamer Jamal showed the way to the pavilion to six Kangaroo batsmen.
The start of the second day was excellent for Pakistan. Due to the excellent bowling of Aamer Jamal, the visiting team restricted Australia to 487 runs. Mitchell Marsh played a strong inning of 90 runs for the Kangaroo team, but he could not get support from the other batsmen.
Jamal opened his paws in the debut match by showing the way to the pavilion to Alex Carey, Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins, and Nathan Lyon. Pakistan's young bowler took 6 wickets in his name, while Khurram Shahzad got 2 wickets. Australia lost its last five wickets adding 141 runs.
In reply to 487 runs, Pakistan had a good start in the first innings. By the end of the day's play, the team had scored 132 runs on the score board after losing 2 wickets. Abdulla Shafiq became the victim of Nathan Lyon after scoring 42 runs, while captain Shan Masood remained walking after scoring 30 runs. Imam ul Haq is at the crease after scoring 38 runs and Khurram Shahzad is at 7 runs. Pakistan is currently 355 runs behind the score set by Australia.
For Australia, David Warner and Mitchell Marsh made their mark with the bat in the first innings. Warner, playing the last Test series of his career, played a memorable inning of 164 runs facing 211 balls. During this innings, Warner hit 16 fours and 4 sixes. Whereas, Marsh played a brilliant inning of 90 runs in 107 balls. However, Marsh was unlucky and could not complete his century.
