Abhishek Sharma hospitalised, ruled out of Namibia match

India's next match in the T20 World Cup is against Namibia on Thursday, and explosive batsman Abhishek Sharma will not be available for this match. Abhishek traveled with the team to Delhi and attended a dinner party at Gautam Gambhir's house. However, he left the party early after feeling unwell. He was later diagnosed with a stomach infection and had to be admitted to a private hospital in the city.

Despite his golden duck in the first match against the USA, Abhishek Sharma is in excellent form. He arrived in Delhi from Mumbai with the team, where the team first went to Gautam Gambhir's house. The head coach had hosted a dinner party for the players and staff. According to reports, Abhishek left the party early because he was feeling unwell. Tests confirmed a stomach infection, after which he was admitted to the hospital on Monday, February 9. He remained in the hospital on Tuesday

Abhishek Sharma was ruled out of the match against Namibia

Abhishek Sharma is expected to miss the match against Namibia on Thursday, February 12. Sanju Samson could replace him in the playing 11 and open the innings alongside Ishan Kishan. The BCCI medical team is currently monitoring his condition.

Will Abhishek Sharma be able to play the match against Pakistan?

It's unclear whether Abhishek Sharma will be able to play in the match against Pakistan on February 15th, as further testing will determine his fitness. India's next match after Namibia is against Pakistan on February 15th at the R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
