Lucknow Super Giants' debutant fast bowler Mayank Yadav made the record of bowling the fastest ball of IPL 2024 on March 30. The 21-year-old young player from Delhi troubled the Punjab batsmen with his fast pace while playing at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
Mayank bowled the ball at a speed of 155.8 kmph in his second over against Punjab, which was the fastest ball of this season and overtook Rajasthan's Nandre Berger. Talking about Mayank Yadav's career, he plays domestic cricket for Delhi and has played only one first class match so far. Mayank has played 17 List-A and 10 T20 matches. Mayank has 34 wickets in his name in List-A and his economy is also 5.35. In T20, Mayank has taken 12 wickets with an excellent economy of 6.44.
